Oleksandra Horiienko

Oleksandra Horiienko is a film director and editor, as well as a junior producer at UP UA Studio. With experience directing and editing various short films, she explore the complexities of Ukrainian society through satire and absurdity. Working on his debut feature film, Total Mess.; Oleksandra Horienko is a Ukrainian filmmaker. She studied at Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, Faculty of Film Editing (MykolaBazarkin workshop). She has taken part at different documentary workshops, including ExOriente, Indie Lab and Jihlava Academy. Her short film “Uzhorod, to the shelter!” (2024) was screened at Vienna Shorts, Samizdat FF etc.
