Conversation between Ida Aaskov Dolmer and Cecilie Lind at REVOLVER
After the film about the Irish writer and feminist Edna O'Brien, we invite you to a conversation with researcher Ida Aaskov Dolmer and author Cecilie Lind about women, feminism and motherhood in literature and research.
Step onto the theater stage at REVOLVER, which is transformed into a CPH:DOX cinema for this special occasion. Here we present a conversation about women, feminism and motherhood with researcher in feminist literature, Ida Aaskov Dolmer, and author Cecilie Lind, who is soon to release her novel ‘Bristefærdig’.
Following the film about the groundbreaking author Edna O’Brien, we explore themes of women, feminism and motherhood, both in relation to O’Brien’s life and work and in light of the two panelists’ own work. How do O’Brien’s depictions of women’s lives and personal struggles with motherhood remain relevant today? And how are these themes reflected in Lind’s books and in Dolmer’s research?
The conversation will be moderated by journalist Klara Hegnet (Dagbladet Information).
