The Climate Story Lab Nordic is a platform for climate storytelling, supporting film and media makers, and working with capacity building within the film industry towards climate action. In collaboration with Doc Society and CPH:DOX, the first edition of 2023/2024 supported nine Nordic climate films and their impact strategies. At CPH:DOX 2025, CSL Nordic are launching a participatory process to take stock of the current state of climate storytelling in the Nordic film industry. In a series of round-tables the goal is to move beyond identifying challenges and opportunities to ask – in the midst of a world in transition, what can we pledge at various levels of the film industry? What would it mean to meet this transition for real?
