After the movie, Basel and Yuval talk about the importance of solidarity throughout years of conflict and the current situation in the West Bank. The conversation will be moderated by TV 2 International Correspondent Simi Jan.
Finally, we end with an exclusive concert with the Palestinian composer and oud virtuoso, Bilal Irshed, and the leader of the Middle East Peace Orchestra, the Royal Danish Oboe player Henrik Goldschmidt. oboist, Henrik Goldschmidt.
Bilal Irshed plays the Oud and is a composer specialising in Arabic music. He was educated in Jerusalem and came to Denmark 15 years ago. Bilal is a sought-after artist and has an international career both with his own ensembles and as a soloist. Henrik Chaim Goldschmidt is an oboist and composer and founder of “Goldschmidts Musikakademi”, a music school where children receive free music lessons. Henrik is interested in Jewish music, Bilal is a master of Arabic music and together they develop a sound of respect and friendship.
