‘Ibelin’ + Event: Opening of SOCIETY:CINEMA: Who has the right to a good youth?
Join us as we open this year's SOCIETY:CINEMA in collaboration with Politiken with one of the most important films of the year under the theme 'Body Politics'. Meet Anna Lin, William Korte, Emil Falster and Naima Yasin.
We will talk about the right to a good youth – also with disabilities. Because a good youth is a human right, but how do we ensure that everyone experiences it?
Joining the conversation are TV host, Anna Lin, who has just won ‘Role Model of the Year’ at Echo Prisen, researcher at Aalborg University and the Bevica Foundation, Emil Falster, and chairman of the Association of Young People with Disabilities and ambassador for the Danish Institute for Human Rights, William Korte, who himself lives a youthful life with muscular dystrophy. The talk will be moderated by Naima Yasin, secretarial head of SAGA, Denmark’s new youth movement.
Presented in collaboration with the Danish Institute for Human Rights, the Bevica Foundation and SAGA.
