THROUGH THE PIPELINE CASE STUDY - Powwow People (2025)

This session explores the journey of a film through the festival circuit. In conversation with the filmmaker and the producer of Powwow People (2025), we will follow its path leading to its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival 2025. They will share their experiences, from the film’s early development to securing financing through pitching and one-on-one meetings with financiers at CPH:FORUM 2024, and its selection in the Artists & Auteurs section at CPH:DOX 2026. John Cardellino will also be pitching again at CPH:FORUM 2026 with the project The Elephant in the Room.

INTRO:DOX events will take place on March 15, 10:00-18:00 at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Nyhavn 2 and March 16, 10:00-15:30 at Odd Fellow Palace (Kings Hall), Bredgade 28.
