Jorge Caballero

Jorge Caballero is a filmmaker, researcher and educator working at the intersection of cinema and AI. PhD in Film & AI, co-founder of Artefacto and GusanoFilms, his work has premiered at TIFF, IDFA, Rotterdam, CPH or SXSW, among many. Exploring tech-driven methods for documentary practice.; Jorge has directed several films that have premiered and won awards at prestigious film festivals, including TIFF, NYFF, IDFA, SXSW, among many. He twice won the National Cinematography award in Colombia. He regularly serves on the selection committees of the IDFA Bertha Fund and was selected by the Sundance Institute for its Stories of Change program. He holds a PhD in cinema and AI.
