Gugi Gumilang

Gugi Gumilang is a documentary programmer and strategist working across international documentary ecosystems. He is an International Programmer for Hot Docs and serves as Programme Director of In-Docs, where he leads Docs by the Sea, a leading documentary platform supporting filmmakers across Asia. His work focuses on story development, industry positioning, and impact strategy, and he regularly mentors filmmakers at major international labs and markets. Gugi is also a board member of the Documentary Association of Europe (DAE) and a frequent facilitator, speaker, and jury member at international documentary film festivals.
