Eva Marie Rødbro
Eva Marie Rødbro is a Copenhagen-based documentarist who graduated from the National Film School of Denmark (2015) and Gerrit Rietveld Academie (2008). Her work is centered around the lives of socially disadvantaged young people and as she focuses on the relational commitment and challenges, sometimes the same characters will appear in different projects throughout the years. Rødbro has created a number of acknowledged Danish TV shows, including Prinsesser fra Blokken (The Princesses from the Block) (2016 & 2024), Simona Overlever (Simona Survives) (2017) and Pony Love (2021). Her films include I Love You I Miss You I Hope I See You Before I Die (2019), We Chose The Milky Way (2015) and I Touched Her Legs (2010). Her work has screened at festivals such as CPH:DOX, IDFA, IFFR, Hot Docs and Ann Arbor. Rødbro has continuously taught and presented locally and internationally a.o. at the National Film School of Denmark, Fatamorgana (DK), Syracuse University, CalArts (USA), Concordia University and McGill University (CA).
