Diego Galafassi
Director, host of Climate Story Lab Nordic
Diego Galafassi is a transdisciplinary artist from Brazil working at the intersection of art, science and co-creation. Director and producer of documentaries, participatory art and immersive experiences exploring human-nature relationships. Recent works include the animated short hand-painted film "Becoming Air," a partnership with Alisi Telengut (Berlin IFF, Toronto Asian Reel) and project “Breathe” that premiered at Sundance Film Festival. Currently, Diego leads the research-creation initiative "Atmospheric Intelligences" at Stockholm Resilience Centre (Stockholm University) looking at the role of emerging media in futuring practices. Host of Climate Story Lab Nordic, his work has exhibited at Sundance, CPH:DOX, Reel Asian IFF, Bucheon IFF and galleries worldwide.
