‘Tehachapi’ + Event: Can art make a social difference?

After the film screening, you can participate in an engaging and inspiring talk followed by a workshop.

Get an insight into how art can create social change when artist Claus Carstensen talks about his experiences creating art in Storstrøm prison.

After the talk, you can take art into your own hands as we create a joint work by moulding clay sculptures inspired by the many different bodies in SMK’s Skulpturgade and the current exhibition ‘Alberto Giacometti – What Meets the Eye’.

The talk begins directly after the film screening and lasts approximately 20 minutes. The workshop takes place in SMK’s workshop from 16:15-17:30 and is facilitated by the museum’s workshop manager, Michael Hansen.

Please note that there are a limited number of places for the workshop, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
