Peter Doherty ‘Stranger In My Own Skin’ (film, talk and mini-concert)

The charismatic frontman of The Libertines and Babyshambles, Pete Doherty, is visiting CPH:DOX for a special screening of the film ‘Peter Doherty: Stranger in My Own Skin’, followed a talk with director (and Doherty’s wife) Katia De Vidas and an acoustic mini-concert with fellow guitarist Andrew Newlove. In the film, De Vidas followed Doherty over a ten-year period, giving a merciless insight into an addict’s struggle to overcome his demons without losing himself in the process.

To celebrate Doherty’s appearance at Bremen Teater, their neighbouring bar Kolme will open their doors extraordinarily this Monday. From 18-21 you can experienence a true Madchester dj-set feat Boogie Rookie and Oskar Dinesen (Pardans, Ecstasy In Order).
