Peter Doherty ‘Stranger In My Own Skin’ (film, talk and mini-concert)
The iconic lead singer of The Libertines and Babyshambles will give an acoustic mini-concert and talk about his long struggle to overcome his addiction after a screening of the film about 10 years in a tumultuous life.
The charismatic frontman of The Libertines and Babyshambles, Pete Doherty, is visiting CPH:DOX for a special screening of the film ‘Peter Doherty: Stranger in My Own Skin’, followed a talk with director (and Doherty’s wife) Katia De Vidas and an acoustic mini-concert with fellow guitarist Andrew Newlove. In the film, De Vidas followed Doherty over a ten-year period, giving a merciless insight into an addict’s struggle to overcome his demons without losing himself in the process.
