Alexander Holm
Alexander Holm is a sound artist from Copenhagen, often working in collaborations with filmmakers, dancers and visual artists. As a composer of sound for moving images his work includes Goodbye shoes, goodbye floor. Bye bye bones (2023) by Asta Lynge, Sportcast 2 (2022) by Sara Sjölin and Honeycomb Image/Archive Cladding (2022) by Eva La Cour & Tinne Zenner. In live presentations Holm often includes elements of choreography, site oriented performance and applied theory. His work has been presented internationally including CPH:DOX (DK), Veem House for performance (NL), Permian (JP), Danish Cultural Center (CN), Forbidden City (BE), PLX Festival (SE), Cittipunkt (DE), Radius (UA), Les Nautes (FR), L’Ecurie (CH), Aarohi (IN) and Statens Museum for Kunst (DK). Holm is the founder of Sensorisk Verden and has curated the publishing platform since 2016. Most recently he has presented his practice based APD project at RMC in Copenhagen, exploring film theorist Michel Chion's audio-visual concepts within live performance.
