To Øl and CPH:DOX brews new festival experiences

Danish Brewery To Øl is now a main partner at CPH:DOX’s big festival in Copenhagen where they, among other things, are kick-starting the partnership by launching a special collaboration beer called Reality Rocks! At the same time, CPH:DOX will also feature at To Øl City’s upcoming summer festival in Svinninge, where the audience will be able to experience some of this year’s best documentary films, alongside a diverse range of craft beverages and music.

When CPH:DOX is launched on March 23, 2022, it will be with a brand new partner – namely the microbrewery To Øl, which also operates and owns Mikropolis Cocktails. This means that CPH:DOX’s audience will have the opportunity to quench their thirst in cold refreshments from both To Øl and Mikropolis Cocktails, which will be present at various venues around Copenhagen during the festival. This includes Charlottenborg, which will function as a festival center in the period from March 23 to April 3.

Sune Blicher, Heads of Communication for CPH:DOX, said:
“To Øl brews some of the world’s very best beers, and at the same time they have a lot of fun ongoing projects where they develop new products and taste experiences. It’s a business that is carried by both innovation and curiosity. CPH:DOX stands for many of the same values. Our audience demands quality and innovation. That is why we are very excited about the collaboration with To Øl, and we can not wait to get started.”

Tore Gynther, Founder and CEO of To Øl, said:
‘’We are thrilled to partner with CPH:DOX and are excited for the opportunities this collaboration can bring. CPH:DOX’ rich and informative storytelling can both challenge and reimagine the viewers’ conception of the world. It is this boundary breaking approach to their craft that we admire so much, and strive to do the same. There are fantastic things ahead of us together.‘’

Reality Rocks – new beer on the way!
The partnership also means that To Øl and CPH:DOX will present a collaboration beer during the festival called Reality Rocks, that audiences can enjoy at some of the festival’s many events around town. The beer will be a fresh and hoppy session IPA: an easy drinking style that fits perfectly with a festival experience.

To Øl City festival gets a DOX cinema
The collaboration between To Øl and CPH:DOX also means that To Øl’s upcoming summer festival, held at To Øl’s brewery and craft beverage hub named To Øl City, will offer a very special film program – curated by CPH:DOX. This gives people the opportunity to enjoy the best of this year’s documentary films, while enjoying some of the best craft beverages from all over the world.
