Nathan Fielder is visiting CPH:DOX for a very special evening at Bremen Teater dedicated to his wildly innovative HBO series ‘The Rehearsal’. Fielder broke through with his own take on reality TV with ‘Nathan for You’ in 2013, but with ‘The Rehearsal’ he has not just created arguably the most talked-about series of the last year – he has almost invented a whole new genre, duplicating reality in miniature through a social experiment in which the participants (and Fielder himself, not least) attempt to control every conceivable outcome of an existential moment in their lives. The event will consist of a screening of an episode of his ground-breaking show, followed by a moderated conversation with Fielder about his work with room for questions from the audience. Presented in partnership with HBO. There will be no recording or photography permitted at this event.
