DEBATE: THE IMPORTANCE OF THE GOOD TEACHER
Can the good teacher help influence the well-being and future prospects of vulnerable children? That’s the question we ask when we debate primary education and the role of the teacher in children’s lives. Does the Danish primary school have the right framework to ensure that all children get the best possible education, even if they come from socially vulnerable homes? If not, what is needed? Meet Louise Klinge, a researcher on teacher-pupil relations, primary school teacher Rikke Johansen and Regitze Flannov from the Danish Teachers’ Association. Moderator: Journalist Anja Bo.
