TALK: WHEN CHILDREN GET CANCER

115 min

How does it affect a family when a child suddenly becomes ill? What does it do to the relationship between the parents? And why can it be so difficult for some people to talk about the past when the illness is behind them? These are the questions we ask as we tackle the difficult debate about when children get cancer. Meet director Michael Graversen, Marianne Benzon (Childhood Cancer Foundation), psychologist Lise Stampe Møller-Jørgensen (Danish Cancer Society), Trine Hapiach Christensen (childhood cancer survivor) and Sanne Carlson (mother of a former child with cancer). The debate will be moderated by journalist and author Esben Kjær (DR) and presented in cooperation with the Childhood Cancer Foundation.
