IMS X SOS CHILDREN'S VILLAGES: THE CHILDREN OF UKRAINE

110 min

What was child life like in Ukraine for the country’s most vulnerable children before the outbreak of the war? What impact will the war have on them? And how can international organisations best help the children? We will be asking these questions after the screening of ‘A House Made of Splinters’. Meet Mads Klæstrup Kristensen, director of SOS Children’s Villages, which cares for children without parental care and – like the children in the film – has had to evacuate both children and staff in Ukraine because of the war. Mads Klæstrup Kristensen talks to Line Grove Hermansen, Head of Communications at IMS (International Media Support), who has supported the film.
