DEBATE: THE BIODIVERSITY CRISIS SEEN FROM FOUR DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES

95 min

We all know about the climate crisis. But what about the biodiversity crisis? Unnaturally many species are going extinct because of us humans, but why is biodiversity important at all? What can we expect from the future if the number of species on earth is decreasing? How should we tackle the biggest crisis in modern times? And what is even the right solution to such a complex problem? These are some of the questions we’ll try to solve after the film in a panel debate. Here, you can meet the film’s director Esther Elmholt, professor Carsten Rahbek, macroecologist Naia Morueta-Holme, biology professor Jens-Christian Svenning and senior project leader at the Danish Society for Nature Conservation Simon Leed Krøs. Moderator: Daniel Flendt Dreesen, Head of Imagine Tomorrow & Managing Partner, Green Behavior.NB. The conversation will be in Danish.
