AI-concert with YACHT! Film about japanese digital love. Panel on human/machine relationships in an online world. We’re closing this years festival with a bang at Vega!

On the last day of the festival, we join forces with the concert venue VEGA under the theme ‘Virtual Human’. Through films, debates, concerts and installations, we explore the opportunities and challenges of a digital world and how it is changing the way we live. We will start the day with a panel discussion on digital love and human/machine relationships with Katrine K Pedersen, expert in digital culture, Jacob LaCour, immersive experience artists and Joakim Wei Bernild from First Hate, followed by a screening of the hybrid film ‘Perfect Boyfriend’, in which three grown men fall in love with a fictional character from a computer game. Then Joakim Wei Bernild from First Hate will give a performance with his personal solo project Angel Wei, which explores digital life, grief and loneliness. The second event this evening will feature a very special encounter with artificial intelligence. We will screen the film ‘The Computer Accent’, which will be introduced by the directors as well as the band YACHT, who will round off the evening with a bang of a concert – complete with AI-generated visuals.
