‘Lowland Kids’ + Canal cruise and film at Islands Brygge
In connection with the screening of 'Lowland Kids', we invite the audience to join us on a canal cruise with a local look at storm surge protection in Copenhagen Harbor before the film screening. Show up at Cafe Aristo for the canal cruise
Join CPH:DOX on a canal cruise when, in connection with a very special screening of the film ‘Lowland Kids’, we take a local look at the climate and the rising water levels. With Mikkel Suell Henriques, project manager at Realdania, and Per Andreasen, project manager for storm surge protection in the City of Copenhagen, we will frame a conversation about the challenges and solutions required by climate change. After the canal tour, we will screen the film ‘Lowland Kids’ in Kulturhuset Islands Brygge. With the film’s focus on rehousing families in the southern United States, the climate in the Western world is put into perspective. Come along to a special evening at sea, which puts the climate on the agenda and offers opportunities for reflection and conversation.
Meeting point for the canal cruise is at Cafe Aristo, Islands Brygge 4, 2300 KBH S. After an hour the boat will be back at Cafe Aristo.
The film will be screened hereafter at Kulturhuset Islands Brygge.
