‘I Shall Not Hate’ + Event: Opening and conversation with Izzeldin Abuelaish

We mark the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights when Marya Akhtar, Head of Legal Affairs at the Danish Institute for Human Rights, welcomes you to the opening of the exhibition 'Turning Points: 75 Years of Human Rights'.

After the film, there will be a debate on human rights and the laws of war with Senior Researcher at the Danish Institute for Human Rights, Peter Vedel Kessing, and the film’s protagonist, Professor, Author and Medical, Izzeldin Abuelaish, as well as Director for Advocacy and Analysis at Médecins Sans Frontières, Julie Raavad.

The conversation will be moderated by managing editor for Opinion at Politiken, Lotte Folke Kaarsholm.

We will serve a glass of wine at the screening after the debate.

Presented in collaboration with the Danish Institute for Human Rights and IMS, International Media Support.
