‘Blue Road’ + Conversation between Ida Aaskov Dolmer and Cecilie Lind at REVOLVER

After the film, we invite you to a conversation with author Cecilie Lind and researcher Ida Aaskov Dolmer about women, feminism and motherhood in literature and research. The Irish Embassy will serve a free Guinness, and Cecilie Lind will sign books afterwards, and you can buy her new book ‘Bristefærdig’.

Step onto the theater stage at REVOLVER, which is transformed into a CPH:DOX cinema for this special occasion. Here we present a conversation about women, feminism and motherhood with researcher in feminist literature, Ida Aaskov Dolmer, and author Cecilie Lind, who just released her new novel ‘Bristefærdig’ to six star reviews. There will be free Guinness for the screening sponsored by The Irish Embassy, and Lind will sign books afterwards. You can also buy her new book.

Following the film about the groundbreaking author Edna O’Brien, we explore themes of women, feminism and motherhood, both in relation to O’Brien’s life and work and in light of the two panelists’ own work. How do O’Brien’s depictions of women’s lives and personal struggles with motherhood remain relevant today? And how are these themes reflected in Lind’s books and in Dolmer’s research?

The conversation will be moderated by journalist Klara Hegnet (Dagbladet Information).
