              THROUGH THE PIPELINE CASE STUDY - Only On Earth (2025)

              This session explores the journey of a film through the festival circuit. In conversation with the filmmaker and the producer of Only On Earth (2025), we’ll follow its path leading to its world premiere at Berlinale 2025, where it was showcased in the Generation section. They will share their experiences, from the film’s early development to securing financing through pitching and one-on-one meetings with financiers at CPH:FORUM 2023, and its selection in the Highlights section at CPH:DOX 2025. Along the way, the project won the IEFTA Cannes Marché du Film Docs-in-Progress Award 2024 and the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award at CPH:FORUM 2023. Robin Petré will also be pitching again at CPH:FORUM 2025 with the project Wolf Moon.

              INTRO:DOX events will take place on March 23, 10:00-18:30 at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Nyhavn 2 and March 24, 10:00-15:30 at Odd Fellow Palace (Kings Hall), Bredgade 28.

              Speakers

              Robin Petré

              Based in Copenhagen. Her film ONLY ON EARTH (2025) premiered at this year’s Berlinale after receiving the Cannes Marché du Film Docs-in-Progress Award 2024. Her feature-length debut FROM THE WILD SEA (2021) also premiered at the Berlinale. Alumna of Doc Nomads, Berlinale Talents, Sundance Institute.; Based in Copenhagen.

              Signe Skov Thomsen

              Signe Skov Thomsen is a producer at the Copenhagen-based documentary production company Hansen & Pedersen. She holds a Master's degree in Comparative Literature and is an alumna of both EAVE Producers Workshop and IDFAcademy. Her recent films include INTO THE ICE (2022) and ONLY ON EARTH (2025).
