Paula Ďurinová

Paula Ďurinová is a Slovak documentary filmmaker, photographer and journalist. The main body of her work is about people, places that surround her and storytelling. Post-communist places, social issues, religion, inner life, mental borders or dreams are the main topics she deals with in her work through various media. Paula Ďurinová graduated from the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia and studied at the Academy for Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In 2011, she founded Living Documentary Association, which network with various organisations working with human rights, art, fashion, public spaces and architecture and organises public screenings of documentary films and discussions with the authors.
