Leviathan

Leviathan comprises paintings, sculptures and VR to examine migration, marine welfare and mental health.

Cuba, 150 years in the future. Rising sea levels and calcification of the oceans have led to new hybrid species. Lured into the ocean, you meet a massive Louisiana Red Swamp Crayfish (one of the most invasive aquatic species) with telepathic abilities, mutant lionfish, pulsating jellyfish and coral that have survived through human intervention and global climate change. 'Leviathan' comprises paintings, sculptures and VR to examine migration, marine welfare and mental health. It has been developed with marine biologists, oceanographers, political scientists, neurologists and trauma specialists.
