Judy Kibinge, former advertising creative, turned independent filmmaker founded DOCUBOX The East African Documentary Film Fund in 2013, supporting African filmmakers with grants and labs. An Academy member since 2017, she’s been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award from Kenya's Film Commission.
