          Opening: Banu Cennetoğlu’s new exhibition ‘Being Safe is Scary’ at Kunsthal Charlottenborg

          CPH:DOX and Kunsthal Charlottenborg, together with Human Rights Watch, launches this year's theme and focus on Human Rights with the opening of Banu Cennetoğlu's new exhibition. Free admission.

          The conversation will cover Cennetoğlu’s practice, the work on the specific exhibition and especially focusing on the main work right? (2022-), which consists of huge bouquets of gold letter balloons representing selected articles from the UN Declaration of Human Rights.

          After the talk, there will be access to the exhibition. 

          Admission to the entire program is free.

          17:00: Welcome by Henriette Bretton-Meyer, Acting Director of Kunsthal Charlottenborg and Niklas Engstrøm, Artistic Director of CPH:DOX
          17:10: ‘The Art of Human Rights’ by Yasmine Ahmed, UK Director at Human Rights Watch
          17:25: Conversation between artist Banu Cennetoğlu and curator Katarina Stenbeck.
          17:55: Screening: Highlights from the CPH:DOX program 2025
          18:00-20:00: Free admission to the exhibition
