DOX:FORUM is successfully growing and we are happy to relaunch the event as a financing forum in 2010.

DOX:FORUM is a unique international event dedicated to help facilitate the development and financing of creative and visually strong film projects.
DOX:FORUM, which takes place during CPH:DOX - brings together key international financiers and producers, all intent on discovering the latest independent and innovative works in development with documentary filmmakers, fiction filmmakers and visual artists exploring the boundaries of documentary filmmaking in new strong projects.

DOX:FORUM is a 3 day event, offering:
-Tailored one-on-one meetings with finansiers and co-production partners
-Seminars and case studies on new financing and distribution models
-Individual consultations with professionals offering specialist advice
-Networking, dinners and late night parties

This year, an exclusive maximum of 20 projects will be selected for presentation by CPH:DOX and the DOX:FORUM. With CPH:DOX being the biggest documentary event in Scandinavia, the Forum has a natural emphasis on the Nordic and European scene, but strongly encourages producers and filmmakers worldwide to submit upcoming films for consideration. Projects can be at any stage of development, production or postproduction.

As a new addition, the Forum has 3 main focus areas:

FICTIONONFICTION
We are specifically looking for projects crossing boundaries between documentary and fiction - innovative projects from filmmakers who challenge the genre and our understanding of the documentary film project.

CINEMA
High end theatrical feature lenght documentaries with international distribution potential.

LAB
Innovative low-budget projects from new & established talent seeking out new alternative production methods. Provocative or challenging, poetic or abstract. Stories told in new, exciting, non-traditional ways.

Since its inception in 2007, DOX:FORUM has gained a world-class reputation for bringing together the leading international professionals who are changing the way films are being created, financed and distributed.
DOX:FORUM is an international hotspot where European and international professionals come to meet the Nordic scene.

The application process requires a treatment, status report, trailer, production budget and biographies on participants. For full details, see HERE. There is no entry fee for submissions.
